Introduction to Physical Computing with Arduino (12 hours)

Teachers: Francesco Montedori / Fabio D’amore (CNR)

The course aims to introduce the student to physical computing.
Physical computing means “building interactive physical systems by the use of software and hardware that can sense and respond to the environment”(Wikipedia).

The lessons -based on the board Arduino UNO- will teach the basic notions of electronics and programming, and illustrate the standard components to build a simple robotic system: digital and analog sensors, microcontrollers, motors.

No previous experience in electronics or informatics is necessary for this course. All lessons are practical.

All students are requested to install on their pc the following free softwares:

-Arduino 1.8.7

-Fritzing 0.9.3b
